Cee Stitchery is the venture of Carrie Fahl – an artist with a focus in hand embroidery. Carrie lives and works on the Canadian prairies in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Carrie draws inspiration from nature, folk art, the simplicity of a quiet life, wildflowers, and the Canadian prairies to name a few things. Her variety of functional and decorative textile pieces are created with a softness and simple joy that come through in the overall mood her work embodies.

Small, intricate hand stitched florals, leaves, and other elements from nature tie her pieces together to form a body of work that centres around peacefulness and the beauty that is found in ordinary things.  Her goal is to take the simplicity of nature and use it within the complexity of needlework to create a thoughtful calm between the two. It is her belief that the texture and tactility of hand embroidery contribute to the feeling of warmth each piece is intended to radiate. You can view her work by following the link here .
